Design & Development Coordinator
For our Design & Development team we are looking for a motivated Design & Development Coordinator to support us in creating and realizing the best products for our collections. Including the important Corporate Responsibilities that will help us in making a positive environmental impact.
This role requires your organizational talent to add stability to our team. It will be a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced fashion environment alongside creative
designers/developers in the heart of Amsterdam.
What will you do?
- Support in executing the design & development administrations in both PLM +
ERP systems and visual overviews - Coordinate the CR responsibilities and working closely with the CR Team
- Supervise the responsible material certifications
- Assist the designers in developing special collections outside the main collection (collaborations & flash collections)
- Assist in fittings, for all product categories
- Assist the designers in meetings and reviews
- Coordinate Fabric and Trim Library
- Coordinate and oversee the organization of the sample collection
- Coordinate Test Wear samples
- Coordinate and checking barcodes and care label information
- Update and create development manuals
- Be a stable and reliable contact person for our suppliers
What do we ask from you?
- A bachelor’s degree in Fashion management or a related field.
- Internship experience preferably within a fashion brand
- Availability min for 28 hours per week.
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- A sharp eye for detail, efficiency, and ability to balance quality and deadlines
- Passion for working with creative minds in the fashion world
- You work well independently and as a team
