Graphic Design Intern

About Fabienne Chapot

Our story began in 2006, when self-made entrepreneur Fabienne Chapot founded her namesake brand in Amsterdam — uninspired by the
bland palette of the market and driven to shake things up with fresh pops of colour and hand-painted prints. That ambition, courage and positive attitude turned into Fabienne Chapot as we know it today: a storytelling brand at heart, where feminine pieces are made to elevate the everyday, finished with signature embellishments and a personal touch that makes every piece unmistakably ours.

As a certified B Corp™, we blend high-energy, unapologetic style with a deeply responsible heart. Female empowerment, diversity and transparency are embedded in our DNA — from our supply chain to the vibrant culture across our headquarters in Amsterdam and our brand boutiques. We dream big, celebrate individuality and spread positivity in everything we touch. We celebrate all forms of identity, love and uniqueness — because the more colourful and diverse our world is, the more beautiful it becomes.

Join us as an intern and you become part of that same outspoken, passionate and optimistic energy. Not on the sidelines, but as a real member of the team: you work on live projects, get responsibility from day one and learn from colleagues who love to share what they know — together with a close-knit group of fellow interns.

Your Role

As Graphic Design Intern you are part of our Graphics team and work side by side with our Graphic Designer. You create on-brand designs for Marketing, E-commerce and Retail — from newsletter visuals and web banners to hangtags, in-store signage and lookbooks. You learn how to translate a strong, colourful brand identity consistently across digital and print.

You will see your work go live online and in our boutiques, and you leave with a portfolio full of real, published work. As you work closely with the creative teams, you are on-site at our Amsterdam HQ most days.

Your Tasks

  • Create digital content for our website, newsletters, marketplaces and other e-commerce channels

  • Design in-store materials such as hangtags, signage, sale concepts and packaging

  • Create templates and layouts for brochures, collection books, lookbooks and presentations

  • Design materials for events, invitations, pop-ups and our retail partners

  • Prepare print-ready files and organise artwork for our design and production teams

  • Help keep our brand identity consistent across all touchpoints

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm for Fabienne Chapot and our values: personal, ambitious, positive, empowering and transparent

  • You are currently following a Bachelor's programme (e.g. Graphic Design, Communication & Multimedia Design or another creative programme)

  • A portfolio that shows your eye for typography, layout and colour

  • Fluent in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; Figma is a plus, Premiere Pro and After Effects are a big plus

  • A keen eye for detail and experience preparing print-ready files

  • Organised: you can juggle several requests at once and keep calm when deadlines are tight

  • Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus

  • Available 4–5 days a week for a minimum of 6 months, on-site in Amsterdam most days

To Look Forward To

  • A real internship with responsibility from day one: live projects and plenty of room for your ideas

  • Coaching from experienced colleagues in your field (learn from the best!), with regular check-ins and evaluation moments to track your learning goals

  • An internship allowance of €450 per month (based on 40 hours per week)

  • A vibrant workspace at our waterfront headquarters in Amsterdam

  • Delicious and healthy team lunches, fresh snacks and Friday drinks overlooking the water

  • A close-knit group of fellow interns — we always have a core group of interns on board, which makes it extra fun!

  • First access to our (internal) sample sales
