Operations & Supply Chain Intern

About Fabienne Chapot

Our story began in 2006, when self-made entrepreneur Fabienne Chapot founded her namesake brand in Amsterdam — uninspired by the bland palette of the market and driven to shake things up with fresh pops of colour and hand-painted prints. That ambition, courage and positive attitude turned into Fabienne Chapot as we know it today: a storytelling brand at heart, where feminine pieces are made to elevate the everyday, finished with signature embellishments and a personal touch that makes every piece unmistakably ours.

As a certified B Corp™, we blend high-energy, unapologetic style with a deeply responsible heart. Female empowerment, diversity and transparency are embedded in our DNA — from our supply chain to the vibrant culture across our headquarters in Amsterdam and our brand boutiques. We dream big, celebrate individuality and spread positivity in everything we touch. We celebrate all forms of identity, love and uniqueness — because the more colourful and diverse our world is, the more beautiful it becomes.

Join us as an intern and you become part of that same outspoken, passionate and optimistic energy. Not on the sidelines, but as a real member of the team: you work on live projects, get responsibility from day one and learn from colleagues who love to share what they know — together with a close-knit group of fellow interns.

Your Role

As Operations & Supply Chain Intern you support our Supply Chain team in the daily flow of goods — from incoming shipments from our suppliers to deliveries to our wholesale partners, webshop and brand boutiques. Next to operational tasks, you analyse supply chain performance and get room to work on your own improvement projects.

You learn how a fashion supply chain works end to end, and you help us make it work even better. You work mostly from our HQ in Amsterdam; working from home now and then is possible.

Your Tasks

  • Monitor and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments worldwide, including the sample flow

  • Process and prepare incoming goods in our ERP system

  • Support deliveries to our B2B, B2C and retail channels

  • Run (data) analyses on supply chain performance, such as lead times and delivery reliability

  • Handle questions from internal stakeholders and wholesale customers

  • Support stock management of consumables, such as packaging materials

  • Work closely with Production, Finance, Sales and Marketing

  • Map, streamline and improve operational processes, and actively bring in ideas for improvement

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm for Fabienne Chapot and our values: personal, ambitious, positive, empowering and transparent

  • You are currently following a Bachelor's or Master's programme (HBO/WO) (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, Data Analytics or International Business)

  • An affinity with supply chain, logistics or operations

  • Good Excel skills and an analytical mindset

  • Structured, proactive and able to work independently

  • Communicative, hands-on and customer-oriented, with an eye for detail

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

  • Available 4–5 days a week for a minimum of 5 months

  • A driver's licence (B) is a plus

To Look Forward To

  • A real internship with responsibility from day one: live projects and plenty of room for your ideas

  • Coaching from experienced colleagues in your field (learn from the best!), with regular check-ins and evaluation moments to track your learning goals

  • An internship allowance of €450 per month (based on 40 hours per week)

  • A vibrant workspace at our waterfront headquarters in Amsterdam

  • Delicious and healthy team lunches, fresh snacks and Friday drinks overlooking the water

  • A close-knit group of fellow interns — we always have a core group of interns on board, which makes it extra fun!

  • 30% staff discount + Friends & Family discount after your probation period

  • First access to our (internal) sample sales
