Fabienne Chapot is a bold and colourful fashion brand, proudly born and raised in Amsterdam. Known for our in-house designed prints, vivid colours, feminine tailoring, and quirky details, we launch two collections per year – each with five chapters. Our pieces are sold in nearly 1,000 stores worldwide, through our own webshop, and in eight brand stores. Besides our Amsterdam HQ, we have offices and showrooms in Munich and Antwerp.

What is the job about?
As our Merchandising Intern, you’ll be part of the team that connects creative design with commercial performance. You’ll gain insight into how data and analysis drive collection strategy, pricing, and stock decisions.
Tasks include:
- Analysing collection performance and identifying trends, bestsellers, and improvement opportunities.
- Assisting in building commercial stock offers for overstock clients.
- Conduct analyses that contribute to our collection build-ups, such as the mapping of bestsellers across channels and analyzing performance of product categories and collection chapters.
- Helping optimise our stock distribution across DTC channels.
- Assisting in the buying process (forecasting, allocation).
- Preparing data-driven presentations for internal meetings.
- Supporting with day-to-day merchandising / stock control operations.
What you’ll learn
This internship gives you a behind-the-scenes look at how a fast-growing fashion brand uses data to make strategic decisions. You’ll develop analytical, commercial and communication skills, experience that will be valuable whether you continue in fashion, business, or analytics.
Who you are
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s student in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Business Analytics, Fashion Management/AMFI, Commercial Economics).
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Strong in Excel and comfortable working with data.
- Analytical, structured and proactive, with attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic about our brand and values: personal, positive, transparent, empowering.
- Available at least 4 days per week for a minimum of 20 weeks.
