Earning the B Corp certification gives us a clear framework for how we can continue to improve, which is especially important in an industry known for it's impact on people and the planet.Our B Corp certification is an exciting milestone in our ongoing efforts, and at the same time, it’s only the beginning. What does it take to become B Corp Certified?
Companies undergo a thorough assessment by B Lab, an organization dedicated to reshaping the economy for the benefit of society and the planet.You must score a minimum of 80 out of 200 points and you have to be completely transparent.
How did we get here?
Over the past years, we made more responsible choices for both our people and the planet.We launched RELOVE, increased supply chain transparency, and now nearly half of our styles use sustainable materials. Collaborating with Root Sustainability, we're tracking our environmental footprint.The future is bright
This milestone marks just the beginning of our journey to create positive change in the fashion industry. We're dedicated to improving our social and environmental impact every step of the way. Looking ahead, we acknowledge that our B Corp certification is only the beginning in a long-term journey. We'll continue to collaborate with supply chain partners to support fair wages and reduce CO2, water, waste and toxic materials in the production process. This includes, for example, increasing the use of more responsible materials to 100% and investing in textile-to-textile recycled materials. We'll also promote circularity through our RELOVE platform, plus investigate opportunities for a repair program, and actively encourage female empowerment by supporting local foundations focused on gender equality.
