Production Intern

This is your chance to join the Fabienne Chapot Production team as our new Production Intern! Fabienne Chapot is an Amsterdam-based fashion brand celebrating colour, creativity and confidence. Its statement pieces are made to stand out — with minimal effort and maximal impact — to elevate the everyday. Founded in 2006 by Dutch entrepreneur Fabienne Chapot, the brand has since grown to a global distribution network spanning 1,000 points of sale and 10 boutiques, with the creative hub centered at its Amsterdam headquarters. Fabienne Chapot is B Corp Certified. As a B Corp, the brand is part of a global community of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.


The Role
Are you structured, love to organize and interested in what is involved in producing a
garment? During this internship, you will support the production team with all daily tasks and will master individual projects. The perfect candidate has knowledge of the technical aspect of clothing and a basic knowledge of sustainability is a plus, as this is a big topic in our company. We are also looking for someone who will do an internship for 5/6 months in order to experience the whole production process (1 full season). Instead, you will work in an energetic team with experienced colleagues who will teach you all the ins and outs of fashion production. You will really become part of our team and will work mostly from our HQ in Amsterdam.


Your Tasks

  • Measure incoming samples
  • Assist during fit sessions
  • Help check lab dips/bulk fabrics
  • Keep track of our production planning
  • Check barcode stickers + wash & care lay-outs
  • Lead in the photoshoot sample project
  • Assist the traceability project of the current production season
  • Update stylesheets in our PLM system
  • General support for the production team 


What you bring

  • Enthusiasm for our brand, embracing our personal, positive, transparent and
    empowering values;
  • You are following a relevant Bachelor / Master study (TMO, Saxion, AMFI or any
    fashion related study);
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch;
  • You have a passion for fashion and sustainability;
  • You have a positive energy, like to get things done and can work well independently;
  • You are available at least 4 days a week to work as part of the team, for at least 6 months.
