Fabienne Chapot is a bold and colourful fashion brand, proudly born and raised in Amsterdam. We are known for our in-house designed prints, vivid colours, feminine tailoring, and quirky details. We launch two collections a year, each made up of 5 chapters. Our collections are sold through nearly 1,000 points of sale worldwide, in our own online boutique, and in ten brand stores. Alongside our Amsterdam HQ, we also have offices and showrooms in Munich and Antwerp.

What is the job about?

  • As our Merchandising Intern, you’ll play an active role in shaping and analysing our collections from both a strategic and commercial point of view. This internship gives you a unique data-driven perspective on the fashion industry while working in a creative, fast- paced environment.
  • You’ll support the merchandising team in: 
  • Analysing collection performance and identifying trends, bestsellers, and improvement opportunities 
  • Assisting in building commercial stock offers for overstock clients.
  • Conduct analyses that contribute to our collection build-ups, such as the mapping of bestsellers across channels and analyzing performance of product categories and  collection chapters.
  • Helping optimise our stock distribution across DTC channels. 
  • Assist in preparing presentations based on analyses.
  • Supporting with day-to-day merchandising / stock control operations. 


Requirements

  • Enthusiasm for our brand, embracing our personal, positive, transparent and empowering values;
  • You are currently following a relevant Bachelor or Master study, in a relevant field (e.g Fashion Management (AMFI/TMO), Business Administration, Commercial economics, Business economics, Supply Chain Managemen);
  • You are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus);
  • You’re data-savvy, comfortable with Excel and eager to learn more tools.
  • You work in a structured and proactive way, with an eye for detail.
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative team setting with a positive mindset.
  • You are available at least 4 days a week, for a minimum duration of 20 weeks.
