Behind the scenes - The creation of AW21

Step behind the scenes of the creation process of our beautiful new Autumn Winter ‘21 collection. From the design studio, where designs and prints are crafted by hand, and colour palettes are curated, to the refinement of our silhouettes and surprising details at the production studio.

Source of inspiration

Strong women fuel our inspiration and stories behind our collections. The AW21 collection takes us on an imaginary journey inspired by a fictive strong iconic woman, who travels the world solo on a motorcycle. Inspired by her journey, we imagined a woman who is daring and courageous with a cool attitude.  She wore beautiful feminine dresses and layered sweaters and jackets over the top. Impressions of landscapes and the different people she meets reflect her wardrobe. The colour palette and prints of this collection are based on the landscapes & endless flower fields she passes on her motorcycle.

Chin Chintz

We value artistry and craftsmanship. We try to include this as much as possible in our production chain. All our prints are made inhouse. They always start with a pen or a brush, never made by computers.

Print Designer Stephane Barbier about the Chin Chintz print: “This print is inspired by antique Indian woodblock prints, Chin Chintz is a bold floral that layers an ancient printing technique with contemporary pencil sketching. Lucky charms and friendly insects are playfully hidden amongst the flowers.”

The Chin Chintz print can be found in beautiful fabrics with lurex details and dreamy embroidered denim pieces. The scallop-detailed dress and blouse are carefully curated and make for an instant statement look.
